About Hastelloy X/ C4/ C22/ C276 Round bar/ Wire
Hastelloy X is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy with exceptionally high strength and good fabricability. It has excellent resistance to oxidising environments and good resistance to carburisation, nitriding, and carbonitriding. It also has good resistance to stress-corrosion cracking in both aqueous and high-temperature environments. The alloy has good elasticity and is readily fabricated and welded. Hastelloy C4 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with excellent resistance to various chemical process environments, including strong oxidisers like ferric and cupric chlorides, hot contaminated organic and inorganic media, chlorine, formic and acetic acids, acetic anhydride, and seawater and brine solutions. The alloy has good resistance to stress-corrosion cracking and pitting and crevice corrosion. The alloy is readily fabricated and welded.
Hastelloy C22 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy with excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking. The alloy has good resistance to oxidising environments and can handle both reducing and neutral environments. The alloy is readily fabricated and welded. Hastelloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with excellent corrosion resistance in harsh environments. The alloy has good resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, as well as stress-corrosion cracking and intergranular corrosion. It has excellent resistance to oxidising environments and good resistance to carburisation, nitriding, and carbonitriding. The alloy is readily fabricated and welded.
All four grades of Hastelloy alloy round bars are commonly used in various industrial applications where corrosion resistance is a key requirement. They are known for their excellent corrosion resistance in many environments and are resistant to many different types of corrosion, including pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking. They also have good mechanical properties and are readily fabricated and welded. Our company packages Hastelloy grade round bars using industry-standard methods to ensure safe and secure transport. The bars are wrapped in anti-corrosion paper, plastic, or foam and then placed in sturdy wooden crates or pallets to prevent damage during transport. The crates or pallets are then shrink-wrapped and securely fastened to ensure that the round bars stay in place during transport. Additional protective measures, such as rust inhibitors and sealants, can be applied per the customer’s requirement. All our packaging is done in compliance with international standards to ensure safe and secure delivery to our customers.
