About Stainless Steel 316/316L/316Ti Pipe & Tube

Stainless steel 316 pipes are high-quality pipes made of austenitic stainless steel, similar to those used in other grades. Stainless steel 316 has industrial uses in addition to normal ones, which sets it apart from other grades of stainless steel. Nissan Steel, an active supplier, dealer, and stockist of stainless steel 316 grade and other steel products, distributes only the highest quality items with excellent service.

Stainless steel 316-grade pipes are commonly used in all industries for deeper drilling due to the extra feature of molybdenum, which helps the product stay underwater longer and provides resistance to corrosion and pitting. Although identical to other forms and grades, austenitic alloys offer excellent resistance to underwater stress fractures due to the metal’s high tensile strength.

Stainless steel 316-grade pipes are manufactured to client requirements and have wall thicknesses ranging from 0.5mm to 6.35mm. Sizes range from 12″ to 100″ in various product versions. Additionally, stainless steel 316 has higher strength and chemical and mechanical qualities than other grades, making it perform better under high pressure and have increased durability in various climates and temperatures. Chromium at 18% provides essential corrosion protection, while 4% molybdenum chloride provides air-pitting resistance. Various diameters, thicknesses, and shapes of seamless and welded stainless steel 316-grade pipes are available, all reasonably priced and of high quality at Nissan Steel. All items, including stainless steel 316 pipes, undergo individual examination and testing under quality requirements before delivery.
