The creep and stress rupture characteristics of ASTM A240 Grade 321 Plate are significantly enhanced. A higher carbon variant of the SS 321H Plate Sheet, known as Alloy 321H stainless steel plate, is available in the same thickness range as SS 321H Plate Sheet. SS 321 Sheet is a highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel plate. It is available in sheet form as WNR 1.4541. Sheets subjected to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation range of 800 to 1500 degrees Fahrenheit (427 to 816 degrees Celsius) develop intergranular corrosion. The incorporation of titanium into alloy 321 stainless steel plate prevents the production of chromium carbide. The material’s excellent mechanical properties make UNS S32100 Sheets capable of withstanding high temperatures. The 321H Stainless Steel Perforated Sheets contain the alloy’s high carbon (0.04 – 0.10) form. The ASME SA240 TP 321 Sheets we offer cannot be hardened by heat treatment; they can only be cold-worked.
Welding and processing Stainless Steel 321 Coils are simple when using typical shop fabrication methods. Plates from Werkstoff No. 1.4878 provide various qualities suitable for technical and industrial applications. Customers are ensured of the product’s quality by subjecting the produced SS UNS S32109 Chequered Plate to several testing procedures. The level of carbon found in an ASTM A240 Type 321H Sheet enables dual certification for the sheet. Stainless steel 321 plates exhibit superior toughness even when heated to low temperatures.
