About Inconel 800/ 800H/ 800HT Forged fitting
Nissan Steel offers a wide range of high-quality Incoloy 800 Forged Socket Weld Fittings used in various industries for multiple purposes, including manufacturing heaters, hydrocarbon cracking, heat exchangers, and ethylene furnace quench boilers. To work with Incoloy 800 Forged Socket Weld Elbow Fittings, the recommended temperature range is between 1000 and 1230°C for hot working. However, it is possible to perform light work at temperatures as low as 850°C if it is kept high enough.
To prevent stress relaxation grain boundary cracking, which can occur in applications with temperatures higher than 1000°F, the welded fabrication of Incoloy 800H Forged Socket Weld Tee Fittings should be heated to 1650°F for approximately one hour per inch of thickness, or a minimum of 30 minutes before being cooled by air. This modification helps to manage carbon and grain size, achieving optimal stress rupture qualities in Incoloy 800HT Forged Cap Fittings.
Alloy 800H Socketweld Coupling Fittings are a managed version of Alloy 800 Socketweld Cross Fittings, which have been solution heat resistant to a temperature of 2100°F or 1150°C, providing improved properties when exposed to elevated temperatures. In the Alloy 800HT Forged Socket Weld Lateral Tee Fittings, nickel was considered a “strategic” metal around its development, and the alloy was designed to fulfil the need for a heat- and corrosion-resistant alloy that included a relatively low amount of nickel. Finally, using carbon and the annealing process in Alloy 800 Forged Socket Weld Union Fittings make it possible to achieve higher creep and rupture qualities over 1100°F (600°C).
