About Hastelloy X/ C4/ C22/ C276 Forged fitting
Hastelloy X is a strong, dependable nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with extraordinary resistance to oxidation and carburization. It also has remarkable strength and stability at high temperatures in a corrosive environment, making it the perfect material for heat exchangers, furnace parts, gas turbine components, and more. Hastelloy C4 is a robust nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy that offers outstanding protection when exposed to various corrosive conditions. Its remarkable stress resistance, anti-pitting, and crevice corrosion make it ideal for high-temperature applications such as chemical processing, waste treatment, or flue gas cleaning. Furthermore, this remarkable material can withstand temperatures up to 1900 degrees Fahrenheit (1037 degrees Celsius) even in oxidizing environments!
The Hastelloy C22 alloy, made up of nickel-chromium and molybdenum, is remarkable in its impressive resistance to various types of corrosion. Its tolerance for oxidizing or reducing substances, pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking makes it especially preferable in industries such as chemical manufacturing and pharm tech applications. Furthermore, the special features that make this metal able to withstand hydrochloric acidity levels or sulfuric acids enriched with halides make it the best choice when pollution control protocols need to be observed. Hastelloy C276 is a renowned nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with exceptional resistance to various corrosive conditions. This extraordinary material excels in guarding against oxidizing and reducing media and exhibiting resistance against pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking. Hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acids (which often have halides) can be used confidently alongside this alloy due to its excellence in protecting itself from chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking. As such, it’s widely utilized within the chemical industry, pharma applications, and pollution control sectors.
